That old you isn’t mostly dead.
Your old self was crucified with Christ.
So why are Christians still being told they have a sinful nature?
In Episode 48 of Grace Uncensored, Billy McDonald exposes the Christian double talk that says believers are new in Christ, but still spiritually corrupt at the core.
Romans 6 says your old self was crucified with Christ so you would no longer be a slave to sin. Your struggle may be real. Your temptation may be real. Your flesh patterns may be real. But that does not mean your old self is still alive.
This episode explains the difference between sin’s influence and your identity, between flesh patterns and your new self, and between religious shame and New Covenant freedom.
