We say:
“Saved by grace.”
Then quietly teach:
“Stay close through performance.”
We say:
“Jesus finished the work.”
Then hand believers a lifetime of pressure trying to maintain what He finished.
We say:
“You’re accepted.”
Then leave people wondering every day:
“Am I doing enough?”
“Am I close enough?”
“Is God disappointed with me?”
In Episode 46 of Grace Uncensored, Billy McDonald exposes one of the biggest hidden pressure systems in Christianity and asks a difficult question:
Does grace produce obedience…
or does pressure?
We’ll unpack:
• Why many sincere believers feel spiritually exhausted
• The Christian double-talk around obedience
• Why fear never changes the heart
• The confusion around “die to self” and “I die daily”
• Why “take up your cross” may not mean what many think it means
• How union with Christ changes obedience completely
• Why grace produces the transformation religion keeps trying to force
This episode also includes listener stories from around the world and explores how many believers moved from fear, guilt, and striving… into freedom and rest.
