An Ongoing Conversation with Dr C Baxter Kruger and Jason Clark

This week on Across All Worlds, Baxter and Jason are joined by another long term friend, Katie Skurja for a deep dive into paradox, shame, the image of God, and the radical implications of the incarnation. Together, Katie, Baxter and Jason explore what happens when we stop trying to resolve the mystery and instead learn to live within it. The conversation highlights the ways shame causes us to split ourselves, others and even our understanding of God. Recognising the incarnation and its breathtaking implications. If God has taken on flesh, then flesh cannot be the problem shame has told us it is. And the gentle reminder that the incarnation is not God fixing humanity from a distance, it is God restoring humanity from within. This is a conversation about recovering the goodness of our humanity, rediscovering our place within the life of the Triune God, and discovering that Jesus meets us precisely in the places where we have learned to hide.
