It's a special kind of arrogance that views all that came before them as worthless religion, as if they alone are the chosen ones upon whom all truth and knowledge rests.

With this in mind, starting next Tuesday (08/20), I'll be starting a series of lectures on how studying the early church better informs our contemporary faith journey in grace.

The second lecture in this series will focus on the historical and theological development of the Apostles Creed and the tension that exists between "I" and "We" in the Christian identity.

How long will this series last? I haven't a clue. But I've got a lot to say so prepare yourselves accordingly!
